Overview

Founded in 2005, Uttarakhand Technical University (UTU) is the only affiliating University of the state for technical institutions. The University was established by the Government of Uttarakhand. At present, there are eight constituent and 132 affiliated colleges that offer degree programmes to more than 33,000 students across multiple streams. These course streams include Management, Engineering, Hotel Management, Computer Application, Pharmacy, etc.

The University has signed six MoUs with Uttarakhand State Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited, ICFAI University, Dehradun, Uttarakhand Irrigation Department, Indian Air Force, AKGEC Skills Foundation, Ghaziabad and Spoken Tutorial Project, IIT Bombay.
