Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology (SRIT) is an autonomous institution affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. With the institution's hard word and strength put in the last 18 years the college has been progressing towards Excellence in Engineering Education, Research and Development.

The college started its journey with just a few Under Graduate programmes in Engineering with an annual intake of 180 students in 1997, now the College offers 12 Under Graduate and 10 Post Graduate programmes, with an annual intake of 1950 students.
