Overview

Poornima College of Engineering, also known as PCE, Jaipur is a private institution established in 2000 and is affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University. The institute is a part of Poornima Group of Colleges (PGC) and is accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The institute was awarded as Advanced Partner Institute for Infosys for successful running campus connect programme and outstanding performance of students in Infosys placement drive. The student forum of PCE, namely PCE IETE Student Forum is recognised as the most active ISF by IETE Rajasthan Center.

One of the major features of the institute is its Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) that helps students to promote their entrepreneurship and start-ups. PCE is one of the remote study centres of IIT Madras, IIT Kharagpur and IIT Bombay. A total of 55 students from PCE have completed the certified under IIRS programme conducted by MHRD and ISRO, Dehradun. The institute not only provides opportunities within the country but also globally in collaboration with University of Illinois, Chicago. Some of the students got international internship opportunities in Egypt and Indonesia.

The institute timely conducts seminars with IIT Madras and IIT Kharapur and some of the students were awarded by IIT Madras and IIT Kharagpur with 173 certificates of excellence and 57 certificates of participation in eight registered QEEE courses. The institute offers various exchange programmes in association with several organisations, including IEEE, Young Indians, Turitin, Cadd Centre, Celeb Tech, Global Reach, IBM and more. PCE not only focuses on the academic curriculum but also promotes cultural diversity. The institute has a diverse staff and students from various states across the world. Currently, PCE has more than 40 assistant and associate professors for the Department of Engineering.
