Overview

JK Lakshmipat University (JKLU), established in 2011 is located in Jaipur. The university is situated in a 30-acre sprawling campus and has a vibrant and inviting setting. JKLU is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Association of Indian Universities (AIU), and University Grants Commission (UGC).

JKLU offers admission in programs such as Commerce, Engineering and Management at the UG, PG and Doctoral levels. The university has a multidisciplinary approach to teaching which focuses on solving problems and the curriculum is designed in such a manner that it balances the theoretical aspects along with practical exposure, industry demand and contemporary academic research. Right from conducting basic workshops to specialised energy lab and innovation labs, JKLU has more than 50 state-of-the-art labs which offer access to the best tools for projects and research.  It is known for its amphitheatre-style seminar rooms, classroom studio which come with audio-visual equipment, video conferencing facilities and internet services. 

JKLU assists students with placements as the career services team counsels the students and provides the best opportunities for them for their success in the professional world. The Career Services at JKLU work in partnership with the faculty, students, industry and business to understand the requirements of the students and the organisations by getting in some of the best companies to recruit students from JKLU. The university also offers a summer internship for the students of the Institute of Management and Practice School (PS-1) and Practice School 2 (PS-2) for the students of the Institute of Engineering and Technology. JK Lakshmipat University Jaipur also has a team of career services along with the student placement committee who are in charge of the placement procedure.

JK Lakshmipat University recently collaborated with the Artificial Intelligence Institute of the University of South Carolina through an MoU for collaborative research and activities, internships and externships for JKLU's doctoral, masters and undergraduate students at AII, UofSC and many more. Additionally, JKLU also signed an MoU with Edinburgh Napier University with an aim to encourage cooperation on academic programmes, joint research activities, staff and student exchanges and to also explore further areas of collaboration, including joint or dual degree programmes and recruitment partnerships.

JKLU offers many recreational activities like various clubs and sports activities so that students focus on extracurricular activities as well. JK University Jaipur also has various sports facilities such as table tennis, chess, carom, cricket, volleyball and basketball.
