Overview

Indian Institute of Information Technology Design & Manufacturing, Kanchipuram was established in 2007. The college was established with a vision of becoming a premier institution of excellence in Manufacturing and Design that would develop a new generation of technologists and engineers with the ability and mindset to lead Indian industries in the globally competitive economic environment. The college has signed MOUs with NASSCOM CoE DSAI & IoT, IIT Madras and National University of Science and Technology (NUST), MISiS, Moscow, Russia to provide some additional knowledge to the students.

Indian Institute of Information Technology Design & Manufacturing, Kanchipuram is currently offering bachelor’s and master’s degree in Engineering, Technology and Design. All the programs are available in multiple branches. The curriculum of all the courses is updated by Industry 4.0 standard in mind and is equipped with a three months summer internship program followed by a 6-month industry project. 

The 51-acre campus of the IIIT Kanchipuram is situated at Vandalur-Kelambakkam Road, Chennai. The campus is equipped with many facilities such as an auditorium, hostel and modern classrooms. The campus has a Teaching Learning Centre (TLC) established for providing Design and Manufacturing Education. The centre is funded by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) under the Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya National Mission. Many clubs such as Quiz Club, Robotics Club, IDC Club, Dance Club, Language Lab, Ingenium Club and Electronics Club are also available on the campus of IIIT Kanchipuram.
