Bachelor of Commerce also is known by its abbreviation B.Com is a 3-year undergraduate academic program is one of the sought courses after higher secondary education. B. Com is the most preferred course among the students who have passed their 12th class in the commerce stream. Course Eligibility:
In order to get admission in the college, students must fulfill the eligibility criteria given below:
· Candidate must have completed 10+2 in any stream from a recognized board.
· Aspirants should secure passing marks i.e. 33% to get admission to any college. Some colleges also specify that candidates should at least secure 50% aggregate marks to get admission to the college.
· If you want to get admission in top universities such as Delhi University, Mumbai University or other prestigious universities, one need to secure more than 85% aggregate marks.
· It is not compulsory to complete your intermediate level of education from a specific field. But, candidates who have completed their higher secondary education with Commerce stream might get preference over other students.

Course Admission:
A number of colleges across the country conducted merit-based admissions or entrance exams for offering admissions to the BA course for the students.
1. Merit-Based admission
· The merit based admission procedure is followed by the majority of the colleges.
· Through this process, candidates get selected on the basis of the marks secured in their higher secondary examination.
· After the result of Class 12th is announced, the college will release their cut-offs list.
· If the students have scored equal or more than cut off scores of the intended college, they will be eligible to get admission at that institute.
2. Entrance Based Exam
· Some colleges conduct the entrance test to examine the knowledge of the students.
· In this process, candidates after completing their intermediate level of education have to fill the registration form.
· The college will provide the students with the exam schedule.
· Students are then selected on the basis of the marks secured in entrance exams.
